Massage
Massage is a versatile therapy. It can be as firm or as gentle as you require. My natural inclination is for a firmer massage, but I’m happy to make my touch as delicate as you need it to be initially and we can build the pressure as you (and your muscles) get used to me.
Many people come to me saying “I have stiff shoulders”, or “I have a sore lower back”, and this is probably true. What they don’t realise is that pain in one place can be caused by tension, or damage, in a different part of their body. That’s why I don’t offer partial body massages. I like to assess and treat my clients holistically, as a whole person. If a client is having pain in their neck, it may be because they are holding their head awkwardly to compensate for a tilt at the hip caused by tightness in their quads! Pain and tension in muscles can also be caused by emotional pain, and whilst I love working on stiff muscles, I’m also working on energy blockage in the meridians.

Reflexology
Feet are not just feet! Reflexology is a great complementary therapy. When I’m doing a Reflexology treatment for you I’m tuning in to all the things your body requires. I can tell whether you’ve been sleeping well, or whether you’ve been eating enough fibre, for example. There is no hiding from a Reflexologist!
People say that the eyes are the windows to the soul, well, the sole is the window to the body. I can work with you to help ease any discomforts you may be experiencing, both physically and psychologically.
Again, I’ll be working with your energy and meridians to help unblock anything that is causing you to feel unwell, or out-of-sorts.

Mian Dui
Mian Dui roughly translates to “face ritual”. It’s an amazing combination of facial Reflexology, facial Acupressure and Reiki. Using facial oil, crystals and a specific crystal tool called a Gua Sha I will help to encourage collagen production, muscle tightening and reduction of tension in facial muscles, thereby reducing the appearance of fine lines. I use basic Reiki to help balance your energies and leave you with a sense of peace and wellbeing.
Once you’ve had a Mian Dui treatment with me, I can give you tips and pointers on how to carry on the good work at home. If you should wish to purchase Mian Dui tools or oils then please contact Firefly Formula on Instagram or via email.

Colour Therapy (Chromotherapy)
Colour Therapy is ideal to be used in conjunction with any of the above treatments. Colour therapy helps clients to work with the colours of everyday life to improve their emotional and physical wellbeing. White light is a combination of all the colours of the spectrum, so we use that as a cleanser if necessary. Then we’ll use other colours to increase the positive aspects of your life, and decreasing the negative ones. We’ll create a plan for you to develop colour use in daily life to help keep an emotional balance, thereby helping to also keep a physical balance.
Thai Foot Massage
Thai Foot Massage has been practiced for thousands of years. It originated in India but became integrated into the spiritual practices and healing in Thai temples. This treatment provides a deep, yet relaxing, massage and works with the acupressure points on the feet and lower legs.
This treatment differs to Reflexology because I use tools, as opposed to working the Reflex points with my hands, so is preferable if you like a less intense treatment. However, by working the Sen lines through the feet, the treatment gives the same level of rebalance and feeling of wellbeing.
