You may feel slight discomfort in stiff/tense muscles but, unless we have agreed on a very firm massage, there won’t be any pain. 

There are very few contraindications for holistic treatments.  We will discuss any conditions you have at your initial consultation and treatments can be adjusted to take these into consideration.

A Complementary Therapy can be, and often is, used alongside conventional medical treatments.  As opposed to an alternative therapy which would be used instead of conventional medicine.

Holistic therapies are characterised by the treatment of the whole person, taking into account mental and social factors, rather than just the symptoms of a condition.

Initial consultation appointments (for first time clients) are 1½ hours.  This includes a consultation, where I will ask about your reasons for coming to see me, any conditions you may have and what you are hoping for from your treatment.  Treatments after that (within 6 months) will be for 1 hour.  If you don’t rebook within 6 months, another 1 ½ hour appointment will be required as a lot can change in that time.

I will email you a few days before the appointment with a consultation form for you to complete so we can discuss it on the day. In the email I will provide you with a list of linen that I will require you to provide for the treatment. Currently, due to COVID Regulations, I am not allowed to take linen between houses.

Please note that I have cats. They will not be present in the salon at the time of your treatment, but if you have an allergy please consider bringing any medication you may require as they will be present in the house.

I am currently following all COVID-19 Guidelines for Personal Care workers. As a therapist I have a strict hygiene policy anyway, all linen is changed between clients and the table is wiped between clients. Additional COVID-19 rules require that I wear a mask at all times and you will be required to wear a mask at all times when not on the table itself. I will be required to keep your contact details for 21 days, to provide to track and trace if requested (normal GDPR regulations are not affected by this).

I have a 24 hours cancellation policy. Any appointments cancelled within 24 hours are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.
